Inspired by the study of water lilies, I love the flowers against the floating green leaves on the surface of the water, I find the contrast of color bring forward the details of the flowers and leaves. the reflections on the glass surface also relates to the waters.


I make the millafury in the hot glass studio then the next day it is cut into thin slices plased in a kiln and picked up during the forming of the piece, blown out and shaped.
